Any unsafe, unattached building that does not exceed three stories will be demolished in-house by the JCIA. Any building that exceeds three stories will be demolished by an outside contractor under the JCIA's direction.

Upon the issuance of a Purchase Requisition by the Jersey City Building Department and/or Real Estate Division, responsibility for the demolition of such buildings become the responsibility of the JCIA.
