Effective January 1, 2011 residents are no longer permitted to place E-Waste (Electronic Waste) at the curb with their regular garbage.

Residents have two options:

1. Drop-off their E-Waste at the JCIA, 501 Route 440, Jersey City, New Jersey, Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Proof of residency is required; i.e. utility bill, driver's license.
2. Call the JCIA Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
   201-432-4645 ext. 600 to schedule a pickup.

What is E-Waste?
The following are a few examples of what is considered E-Waste:

• Old computers
• Televisions
• Stereos/radios
• Copy machines
• Fax machines

The JCIA, together with our residents, will continue recycling our way to a cleaner, greener and healthier environment.
