- Call the JCIA Main Office, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at (201) 432-4645 ext. 600 to schedule a pickup. (Week days only)
Why special collection is required.
- Refrigerators and air conditioners release ozone-destroying chemicals, called CFC's, during repair and disposal.
What the State and Federal Governments require.
- New Jersey prohibits crushing or other actions that may release CFC's from refrigerators or air conditioners prior to proper collection and recycling.
- The Federal Clean Air Act Amendments (Section 608) prohibits any individual from knowingly venting refrigerants such as CFC's into the atmosphere.

Clean untreated, unpainted lumber and tree parts longer than 4 feet long: Drop off Mon. - Fri. 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the JCIA Main Office (501 Route 440).
Tree Parts shorter than 4 feet: curbside collection available on Wednesdays by appointment only. Call the Forestry Dept. at (201) 547-4449. |

Commercial or residential tires can be dropped off Mon. - Fri. 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the JCIA Main Office (501 Route 440). |
